Ottavio Quattrocchi was accused as the middleman in the scandal because of his intimacy with Rajiv and his Italian-born wife Sonia Gandhi. To save face of Rajiv Gandhi’s image puppet drama by CBI was staged at the hands of Congress and ultimately Quattrocchi is virtually discharged without trial. Be sure the smeared face of Rajeev Gandhi will remain as it is and time will not exonerate him from the blame of scam of 65 crores of rupees. The sin will remain in the mind of his family till last breath and that will pinch every moment in their life. They will never be free from the guilt that Rajeev Gandhi did during his tenure as P.M. This is natural punishment by nature. This moral punishment will always be fatal to them. Technically the case is closed but whenever required it can be reopened. Congress misused power as ruling party and made CBI its tool from immoral aim which presently appears to be achieved. It is another latest colorful feather of corruption and with scam and kickbacks in the cap of Congress.
